Construct a Puzzle

Full-Size 4

Constructor's Note
Thought it was time to practice constructing another full-size puzzle, even if the theme that came to mind was a bit of a "pizza toppings" situation. Hope you enjoy nonetheless. Feedback, and any title suggestions, much appreciated! Photo by Volodymyr Hryshchenko on Unsplash.

nice one! my first thought for a title was "writer's block", with "block" referring to the rectangular prism shape, but I'm not sure how well that part works :P

Nice and smooth - would be a fine Newsday Mon. or Tues. puzzle.

I really enjoyed this puzzle! 45-D/60-A is a tricky crossing and I think a more conventional clue for 60-A would help ensure that future solvers won't get stuck. Looking forward to solving more of your work!

Thanks so much! It’s always hard for me to spot where I’ve made cluing too hard on my own puzzles. Any suggestions on an alternative clue?

For sure! ETS could also be clued in any way that you would talk about space aliens (ETs = extraterrestrials), so you could write 'UFO pilots' or 'interstellar lifeforms' or however you'd want to go about cluing that. Have fun with it!
